By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • “We / Us / Our” refers to MJ Services.

  • “Customer / You” refers to the person or company booking our services.

  • “Vehicle” refers to any car, van, motorcycle, or commercial vehicle presented for valeting or detailing.

  • “Services” refers to any valeting, detailing, ceramic coating, deep clean, or related service provided by MJ Services.

2. Bookings

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Bookings can be made via our website, social media, phone, or message.

  • Estimated timeframes are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on vehicle condition.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices are based on vehicle size and condition. Heavily soiled vehicles may incur an additional charge, which will be discussed before work continues.

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of services unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, card, and approved third-party payment providers (e.g. Klarna, if offered).

  • Any unpaid balances may result in future bookings being refused.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may be charged up to 50% of the booking value.

  • Failure to attend (no-show) may result in being charged up to 100% of the booking value.

5. Access & Safety

  • The customer must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed time.

  • Vehicles must be parked in a safe, legal location.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe (e.g. extreme weather, hazardous location, aggressive behaviour).

6. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage including, but not limited to: scratches, dents, paint defects, worn trim, loose fittings, or mechanical issues.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any known damage or issues prior to service.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by faulty parts, poor previous repairs, or fragile components.

7. Valuables & Personal Items

  • Customers must remove all valuables prior to service.

  • MJ Services is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

8. Service Limitations

  • Stains, odours, scratches, and marks may not be fully removable. Results are not guaranteed.

  • Ceramic coatings and protective treatments require proper aftercare. We are not responsible for reduced performance due to lack of maintenance.

9. Satisfaction & Complaints

  • Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

  • Complaints must relate directly to the work carried out.

  • We will always aim to resolve issues fairly and professionally.

10. Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

  • We will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

11. Refusal of Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including abusive behaviour, unsafe conditions, or unrealistic expectations.

12. Weather Conditions

  • Outdoor services are weather-dependent.

  • We may reschedule appointments due to rain, snow, or extreme conditions.

13. Photography & Marketing

  • With customer consent, images of vehicles may be used for marketing and social media.

  • Number plates and identifying features will be obscured upon request.

14. Amendments

  • MJ Services reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • The latest version will always apply to new bookings.

15. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

MJ Services Exterior Cleaning

Business Name: MJ Services (Exterior Cleaning)

These Terms and Conditions apply to all exterior cleaning services provided by MJ Services, including but not limited to gutter clearance, fascia & soffit cleaning, exterior window cleaning, pressure washing, and soft washing. By booking a service, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Definitions

  • “We / Us / Our” refers to MJ Services.

  • “Customer / You” refers to the person or organisation booking the service.

  • “Property” refers to the building, driveway, or external area where services are carried out.

  • “Services” refers to any exterior cleaning work undertaken by MJ Services.

2. Bookings

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Bookings may be made via our website, phone, message, or social media.

  • Estimated times and outcomes are given as guidance only and may vary depending on condition and access.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • Prices are based on property size, access, height, and condition.

  • Heavily soiled areas, blockages, or excessive build-up may incur an additional charge. You will be informed before work continues.

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, card, and approved third-party providers.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

5. Access & Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer must ensure safe and clear access to the property, including gates, driveways, and work areas.

  • Vehicles, furniture, ornaments, and fragile items should be moved away from the work area prior to service.

  • External water supply and electricity (if required) must be available unless agreed otherwise.

6. Health, Safety & Working Conditions

  • All services are carried out following health and safety best practices.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, including poor access, aggressive behaviour, or hazardous surfaces.

  • Ladders, poles, and equipment are used at our discretion and in line with safety guidance.

7. Property Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage including, but not limited to: cracked render, loose guttering, damaged seals, brittle fascias, deteriorated pointing, or broken window frames.

  • Older or poorly maintained properties may be more susceptible to disturbance during cleaning.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any known defects before work begins.

8. Service Limitations

  • While every effort is made to achieve the best possible result, some staining, discolouration, or weathering may not be fully removable.

  • Gutter clearance does not guarantee correction of underlying drainage issues.

  • Window cleaning may reveal pre-existing scratches, failed seals, or blown units.

9. Weather Conditions

  • Exterior cleaning services are weather-dependent.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to rain, high winds, freezing temperatures, or other unsafe conditions.

10. Damage & Liability

  • Any damage caused directly by our negligence must be reported immediately or within 24 hours of service completion.

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

11. Satisfaction & Complaints

  • Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of completion.

  • Complaints must relate directly to the service carried out.

  • We aim to resolve all issues fairly and professionally.

12. Refusal of Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse service due to unsafe conditions, unrealistic expectations, non-payment history, or abusive behaviour.

13. Photography & Marketing

  • With customer consent, photographs of completed work may be used for marketing and social media.

  • Identifying features will be removed upon request.

  • MJ Services reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • The latest version will apply to all new bookings.

15. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
